I've given in... I was finally convinced to join the family of bloggers. We'll see what comes of it and how often I actually get on to do posts. Don't hold your breath, because there could be long periods of time between each post, but I'll do my best. I've enjoyed looking at other people's blogs, and feel like it could be a good way to connect with old friends every once in awhile. As I said, we'll see what comes of it.
My first post will be an update on life in general. Last spring I married Brett Timmerman (he makes me laugh every day and I couldn't ask for a better husband). On May 19th it will be one year! Crazy how fast time flies by. We have had such a fun first year of marriage and I can't wait for the many more to come. There was a whole lot of "new" to take in during a period of about 4 months, but we've survived so far, and have been beyond blessed. Shortly after our wedding, Brett accepted a job as a P.E. teacher at Lee Elementary in Salem and I accepted a job as the Group Exercise Director at ClubSport Oregon, which is a health and fitness resort just south of Portland. We both love our jobs and feel very fortunate to be in such a good place so early on in our marriage. We're still living at Corban as I am managing the on-campus townhouses for my 2nd year. It's been nice to keep that connection with the school, but still have our off-campus jobs. Basically...we have nothing to complain about.
