c) miles and miles away instead of seconds away

We will miss them ... TERRIBLY!

I've truly been dreading this day for the last several months. We spent most of the day helping them pack up. And even while we were taping up boxes, loading the vehicles and cleaning up the place, it wasn't really hitting me that they were actually moving. It didn't hit me until they drove away, but "Oh boy!" did it HIT me then.

Not to worry...we'll be seeing them in 3 short weeks for a quick weekend visit. Thank goodness! I have a feeling those quick weekend visits will need to happen often.

Happily Married

I meant to post this on the actual day, but this week has been C-R-A-Z-Y!

Brett and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary on Tuesday of this week.

Okay, well I guess the more appropriate way to put it is that we recognized our anniversary. Brett did bring me home some beautiful flowers, but we didn't get a chance to actually celebrate it on Tuesday. So, we'll be doing that this weekend.

We'll keep it pretty low key (but fun and totally "us") with Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and then dinner at Caruso's, an Italian restaurant we've been wanting to try.

In addition, I may or may not have a little something else up my sleeve that Brett may or may not have the slightest clue about. :) I'm so sneaky.

We're excited to CELEBRATE these 2 wonderful years together and are LOOKING FORWARD to the many more to come.
